Good place with amenities like free wi-fi, free parking, and a picnic area. I remember my first stay when the staff offered me a hot drink to warm up in the cold. I’m coming back for a new year!

I spent four nights enjoying a fantastic stay while visiting local attractions like the Newbiggin Maritime Centre and the Couple Statue. One highlight was the exceptional view from my room, which overlooked Newbiggin Bay. I even spotted dolphins! Kathy, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided great tips on where to eat. The comfortable room and the luxurious rainfall shower in the private bathroom made my trip even more enjoyable.

Oh, where do I start? Accessing the front was utterly treacherous with those steep steps, not to mention the dim lighting. And to top it off, I expected a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles but received nothing. I almost thought of giving a good review, but alas, I just couldn't.

Couple looking for a sea view
The location is just superb, right near the couple sculpture where you can hear the waves crashing with the window open, it's really calming. Kathy has some binoculars in the room for a closer look at the busy sea life. you could watch the swimmers and horse riders pass by every day, which made it memorable.
It wasn’t the cheapest option, but it was still quite reasonable for what you get.

The location was fabulous for exploring Northumberland, and our family loved the nightly walks along the promenade. The four-poster bed in our room was cozy, and Kathy's warm hospitality, including her delicious homemade marmalade, was a delightful touch.
My wife says that a play area for kids would be great.
